Well, how do I put me into words...
As an emerging self-taught abstract artist, I enjoy the experimental learnings with acrylic and acrylic mediums. I create very tactile art that involves building-up various layers until I'm happy with the textural consistency. I prefer to work on larger canvases; which probably derives from working on set paper sizes. It generally allows me to be more expressive with my composition and overall layout. That being said I've slowly started to appreciate the smaller wooden panels for some experimental projects.
With my graphic design background, I really enjoy sketching out my ideas (pen-to-paper before paint-to-canvas) and plan out, on my computer before transferring to a canvas.
